Au milieu des années 1970, le groupe québécois Morse Code Transmission affirme son identité musicale avec son deuxième album marquant, un ambitieux double LP simplement intitulé II. Mélangeant rock progressif, hard rock et longues sections instrumentales, le groupe développe un son puissant et distinctif.
L'album marque un tournant dans l'évolution du groupe avant qu'il ne raccourcisse son nom pour Morse Code, adopte des paroles en français et devienne l'une des figures marquantes du rock progressif québécois. II capture l'énergie et l'audace d'un groupe en pleine ascension.

In the mid-1970s, Quebec band Morse Code Transmission refined its musical identity with its compelling second album, an epic 2-LP package simply titled II. Blending progressive rock, hard rock and ambitious instrumental passages, the band developed a powerful and distinctive sound.
The album marks a turning point in the group's evolution before they would shorten their name to Morse Code, switch to French-language vocals and become one of the leading acts of Quebec progressive rock. Il captures the energy and boldness of a band on the rise.
